When Richard Alan looked into self publishing his book, he turned to one of the leading indie book publishers, Trafford Publishing. First Aid for the Betrayed is written around excerpts from Richard’s journal and interviews he conducted while looking into book publishing. After researching several publishing companies, Richard settled with one of the pioneering independent book publishers, Trafford. His research showed that Trafford provided the support and market placement options he needed.

Learning how to publish a book was a cathartic process for Richard. After Trafford, a standout among book publishers, released his book, he said that writing and self publishing the book was “first aid” for him too. He admits he never wanted money from his book, but just wanted to reach out. His book publishers helped him achieve that.
